To the old HCG/EQB crowd from Marc Cohodes days
Shout out to the old crowd that used to be fellow share holders in HCG/EQB and rode that giant gain years ago as the short thesis disintegrated and we all made out like bandits. Here is the shout out:
BFH in the USA is P/E < 3, P/B < 1, ROE long term > 20%. Banking finance industry. Made money in 08 09 even during the financial crisis of that time.
My biggest holding now. Giant cherry on this yummy cake is that the largest share holder is Turtle Creek. Yep, same Turtle Creek that was one of the largest share holders in Home Capital when it was dirt cheap being bashed by shorts...
