Today's dump
I am guessing that the following portion of yesterday's release is what spooked the market:
"Cost and production guidance for Los Filos is subject to the successful execution of new social and land access agreements with local community stakeholders and landowners and collective agreements with unions. These new agreements are necessary to help ensure the long-term economic and investment viability of the mine, including the addition of a new 10,000 tpd carbon-in-leach ("CIL") processing plant to increase recoveries from higher-grade ore. If the Company is unable to satisfactorily complete these agreements, the Company will re-evaluate the current operation and may elect to suspend operations indefinitely or until such time as new agreements are in place."

Perhaps, that said, minus well do it right from the ground up and keep correcting it if needed, than having the Panama fiasco later on. Just me.

My feeling is that they will shutter it at least on temporary basis. The big question is how much is already priced in.
