RE:Teal Linde - BNN - TOP PICK Yes, Ensign recorded a $200 million gain after successfully outbidding Precision for Trinidad Drilling. It was a major coup at that time and Ensign was regarded as being a far superior company to Precision. Then, Precision did a 10 for 1 share consolidation and, to show how fickle the markets can be, Precision's current share price looks like it is the more successful company (over $60). Anyway, there is another protest in Vancouver soon, going to try to force government to end the fossil fuels industry. Canadian earnings season is in full swing. Even at $70 oil, Canadian producers are doing well and returning lots of cash to investors in the form of dividends and share buybacks. I imagine the drillers will become more lucrative investments soon as well! GLTA!
