RE: I agree with..

RE: I agree with..I am glad that my guess has sparked such a lively debate! Good points raised on both sides. Based on the purported comments attributed to the big guy about 'the competition' it sounds more like some form of acquisition being snapped up out of the reach of other interested parties. If not the Moris project, and if it is something new, then we get back to the matter of financing again. I would like to see them finance over $1 mark, but in this business, you often times, finance when you can, get the money while the getting is good and right now its good. True, we'd get more if we wait for a dollar, and we believe that the wait won't be long(could be days if all goes well), but keep in mind this company is growing rapidly and has a thirst for projects and they cost money. I would consider current working capital and possible cash from options/warrants (quoted as 2.4 mm by OSS)to be adequate for our already defined projects, for a number of months, but not so for any additional acquisitions. In the financing game, good management plans ahead, not retroactive and there is little doubt that we have good management, jmvho. As for the comment by one or two posters that one does not do a halt for only financing news, that is most often the case, but if the financing is significant(creating a material change to the capital structure of a company) then it could happen. When OilSandSam says: "IF there is money to be raised..IT won't happen till next year. " - well...given that next year is only 3 weeks away, that isn't much of a bold prediction -lol! I will amend my guess now and state that there will be some good news for sure, and perhaps a second component to the news, that is, the matter of another financing. My opinion only. GLTA
