I agree with..

the financing. Cash burn rate is high, and will need it to finance the work on the properties. But, the main news should be about the mine acquisition. It would explain the length of the halt. My guess.

Our cash burn rate is not high. Our J/V's are paying for exploration. Our money has been going towards acquisitions that are weighted to back end payments. If there is to be a financing, it will be after our share price is above a dollar, if there is one. You need to give our management a little more credit for their abilities, look what they have done for us so far. My opinion.

Will all the money I invested in Exmin so far, count on me, I give all credit to this management. It is actually why, at first, I got interested in this company. This is about having the cash to realise our business plan. Financings for juniors is healthy, I can live with that. WORKING CAPITAL: As at September 30, 2006, the Company had working capital of $1,430,064 (Dec. 31, 2005:$331,590 ...more

Your homework is terrible. I'll just start off with your Moris mine expense...we only pay 30% of whats remaining. As for the rest of your post, the majority of those payments don't occur for another couple of years. Now, take another look at the money that is coming in. 2.4 mil. from the .60 cent warrants alone. Then there is the cash payments from our two J/V's with Penoles and ...more

Good reply Sam... I'm with you, our management is too savvy to finance at these levels imo. I don't think they would halt us for that type of nr. They have been aggressively trying to get our sp up to a dollar (or more) quickly. They have a plan... gotta love a good plan!

My homework is terrible? I think you really should take a step back and look a the facts. Take a look at the MD&A for tha last quarter. Everything is there. With a little more than a Million on the bank and more than 400,000$ in expenses every quarter, we need cash. I am not saying this news is about financing, I'm saying that a PP is coming in, and more qiuckly that you think.  ...more

Take it easy Buddy !! Just like you, Sam and I, and many other's are invested heavily here as well. What Sam was saying is that if we do a financing it will be at much higher prices. I think for those that have done their DD and actually spoken with Karl he makes it no secret that if they need financing that it has to be at much higher prices. OilSandSam is the furthest from a pumper ...more

I am glad that my guess has sparked such a lively debate! Good points raised on both sides. Based on the purported comments attributed to the big guy about 'the competition' it sounds more like some form of acquisition being snapped up out of the reach of other interested parties. If not the Moris project, and if it is something new, then we get back to the matter of financing again. I ...more

Couldn't agree more.

Seems like I got pissed off a bit here. But this post sounded horrible to me : https://www.stockhouse.com/bullboards/viewmessage.asp?no=13755914&t=0&all=0&TableID=0 The fact that you guys think that financing would come "at much higher prices" dosen't mean it will really take place at hicher prices. The only thing it does is support your own conclusions. Remember we ...more

Don't get me wrong Eddy. I agree with you that a financing will take place at first quarter next year (may be even next month--who knows) ---just at much higher prices (hopefully at least a buck). I think the financing will be used to pay our share of getting the mine started and the exercised warrants could be used for acquiring more property !! Good Luck r2j316
