Massive Gold-Copper discovery

Dia Bras Develops Access to Massive High-Grade Copper-Zinc Mineralization at Bolivar
Wednesday September 30, 9:02 am ET

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - 09/30/09) - Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:DIB - News) is pleased to report positive results of continued drilling and underground drifting programs at its Bolivar pilot mine, in Chihuahua State, Mexico. Of particular note is the ongoing mine development of the Guadalupe zone, where access drifts in three levels are delineating a high-grade massive copper-zinc sulfide zone with grades higher than previously anticipated.

The Guadalupe zone was first discovered with two drill hole intercepts in 2004 and mine development access in the area was intermittent as the Company was focusing on mining the Titanic and Selena zones in those years. Further drilling in early 2009 of the Guadalupe zone identified the larger extent of mineralization prompting further development efforts in the area. Mining began on Levels 3 & 7 during March 2009 and on Level 8 during May 2009. Commenting on the results, Daniel Tellechea President and CEO stated "The economic importance of this zone is increasing more-and-more as work progresses. Sampling of drifts and stopes demonstrates the high grade nature of the Guadalupe mineralization. The extent of the Guadalupe zone, however, has not been determined as it is still open in all directions. The results reported here also demonstrate the Company's ability to continue shipping high-grade rock to its Malpaso mill until the new mill is operational on site at the Bolivar mine."
