spreads themselves to thinly

As much as I like the silver space  Excellon through this CEO which I have to admit I am not

fond of,   talks and dreams and says he has all this vision for the company  (  I really find him a

bit flaky when describing the German property in the sense of history through the war and trying

to romanticize it )   ...  but when it comes time to show actions it seems he lacks in that area.

Just find this company is just lagging constantly.    Even Sprott has not had nice things to say

about it even though he owns it.

Eric Sprott didn't say anything bad about the company either, did he?

Yes Mr. Sprott had mentioned well over a year ago that they had issues with costs etc.    You  would have to go back to one of the  "the weekly wrap up"  podcasts before he stopped doing  them for personal reasons.   Don't  get me wrong  ...  there is plenty to like about this company and I own it myself.   The potential it ...more

In 2019 Eric Sprott used the term "litany" to describe the number of Excellon's issues. One was that in December 2018 Excellon discovered that  "criminal elements" were stealing its metal concentrate. This issue was first  reported by Excellon in a 3/21/2019 NR and addressed in an article dated 3/26/2019, both below. Based on ...more

Well stated Silverforever!  I hope Eric Sprott and the Board of Directors carefully consider the contents of this well thought out post and take appropriate action!

Present Exn is a zombie miner that should have been put out of its misery long time ago.  It is a value trap and a failing company  because the only meaninful project - Platosa - turned out to be a turd. as once heavily promoted Platosa is becoming a liability. as once heavily promoted Platosa is becoming a liability.   As the once heavily promoted Platosa is becoming ...more

Thats all more than true and as one result, when i comes to recommend a Silver company Nobody !! will recommend EXN for all this reasons. So again when i can come out of this i will do as i think maybe Silver goes to the roof and we can be happy to get our money back, as a entry speculative play EXN is now maybe not too bad , but for the older shareholders its a desaster to make nothing out of it ...more

Thales, I do think your assessment of Platosa is accurate. I recall Excellon's CEO stating in one of his presentations that Platosa was just getting started. What gives credance to his statement is that significant discoveries have been made  during Excellon's recent focus on drilling at Platosa, like the one  adjacent to its current underground mining operations  detailed ...more
