RE:Fatal FlawI think most every one agrees that the coil driver offers benefits. What we haven`t learned yet are what the cost of achieving those benefits are and in which applications the cost is justified. For example, given my driving pattern, I doubt I would get much benefit from coil driver and accordingly, wouldn`t pay much for it.
A Linimar decision about coil driver in its eAxle may give us a good part of this answer. My guess is that the application for them will be very limited. If Linimar thought the application was broad, they would be moving a lot faster than they are.
