Time for a New Hire at Exro? For the purposes of this post, I will call it Market Information Manager ("MIM").
Primary Responsibilities:
- To create disclosure policies and procedures to ensure that the market and shareholders are kept up to date on all aspects of the EXRO opportunity while complying regulatory guidelines.
- To engage with key participants in all EXRO departments to identify and report on progress, challenges, news worthy events and identify "stories" that would improve the market's understanding of the EXRO opportunity.
- To ensure that any such disclosures honour the terms and conditions of the relevant non disclosure agreements.
- To create a Market Information Portal that presents and reports on relevant Industry and Regulatory news that would also include promotion of EXRO partners (across all 3 EXRO businesses.
- The market and shareholders should not need to scour the internet across disparate platforms to remain informed abd up to date.
- CREATE content that co promotes EXRO and its partners by way of articles or videos.
- Eliminate the need for the ASK ME ANYTHING program which deliver little to no value.
Benefits:
- Provides shareholders and market participants greater exposure to EXRO's efforts to move the opportunity forward.
- Offload much of the disclosure responsibilities that currently rest with senior management, who are time constrained as they deal with the imerger, capital markets, customer/partner relations and operations.
- EXRO's success rests on its ability to a huge amount of small things right. Success at this level leads to successful milestones and ultimately projects. Some projects will have complete information embargoes, while others may not. Nevertheless it would be the role of this person to ferret out that which can and should be shared.
Additional Comments:
The former CFO is now in charge of the BESS Business. Does this seem odd to you? While John is an accomplished executive, this role seems a stretch in my view and makes me wonder if there is something strategic in the offing as it relates to this segment of the EXRO business.
I remain concerned that we are not getting any information on the CELL Driver opportunity and as a result, the market cap for EXRO is based almost exclusively on the Mobility business.
