I just mention it because it is a possiblity the Exro BMS (Battery Management System) is possibly a better product and can be used as a replacement with little repercussion.
Also the BCM is a critical component of Exro's ESS business so is it a much broader problem or what?

Description of the Defect : Mack Medium Duty electric vehicles built with the current Battery
Management System software may result in a sudden loss of power during a
perceived overcharged condition.
FMVSS 1 : NR
FMVSS 2 : NR
Description of the Safety Risk : The sudden loss of motive power and steering may result in an increased risk of crash.
Description of the Cause : Battery Management System software did not manage regeneration at high State of Charge potentially allowing vehicle shutdown.
Identification of Any Warning that can Occur :
There is no warning prior to failure.
The BMS will be updated to manage regenerative braking and High State of Charge.
