I am long on FANS so I really don't care so much about these daily moves, or perhaps I should say I dont get too excited when it goes up suddenly for absolutely no reason. I doubt the drop today is due to shorters, just a failure of the part of the pump machine to ratchet it up. That being said, I suppose the pumps and shorts are part of the same team
