RE:Distribution drop from 3.25 to 2.25 cents Yeah... I feel the pain as well!  So long as Aberdeen is protecting the Net Asset Value of this fund, it should help to keep the stock price on an even keel.  Looks like investors in FAP will have to tighten their belts even further.

I do find that it almost always takes a couple days for the distribution of this stock to get into my account at TD investing.  However, to be fair to TD, they do back date the payment to the correct date.
