Distribution drop from 3.25 to 2.25 cents

Wow... I'm still holding a fair amount of Aberdeen Asia Pacific and the monthly payment does help a lot.  A drop of 1.0 cent per month is going to hurt for sure.  It wasn't that long (it seems) that the disribution was 4.0 cents/ per share; then dropped to 3.25 cents; now down to 2.25 cents. 

Let's hope that it doesn't drop any further for a long time. 

It will be interesting to see during the next number of trading days if a lot of investors decide to bail out of this stock. GLTA

Yeah... I feel the pain as well!  So long as Aberdeen is protecting the Net Asset Value of this fund, it should help to keep the stock price on an even keel.  Looks like investors in FAP will have to tighten their belts even further. I do find that it almost always takes a couple days for the distribution of this stock to get into my account at TD investing.  However, to be fair to ...more

Wow... quite the selling of FAP today.  I do see the reduced payment in my account today, and I'm sure many other investors of this stock see it as well in their accounts. Perhaps this is the reason for the heavy selling pressure today?
