RE:He anyone remember that big open pit mine in Africa That was KAT in the DRC. They had serious dewatering issues and 7 locals were tagically killed with I believe 4 bodies were never recovered. An open pit mine by the way.
At the time they were pumping up through different pumping stations to try and dewater the bottom of the pit.
Not sure what the status of the dewatering issues are now.
With the probable tax hikes, unethical mining and geograhical upheaval in the DRC, ECS is a good investment oppurtunity.IMHO.
