Molycorp was nearly always a bit crazy

Molycorp was nearly always a bit crazyBack in the good old days, long long ago, in 2012, 2013  and 2014
Molycorp had about $300m in cash and about $3b in total assets.
Annual revenue was around $500 million back in them thar days.
But
The rare earth segment is a tough segment in a tough business.

Cobalt is not a rare earth, as I understand it,  but like REE it is
a niche metal that is normally used as a compliment to mainstream metals
like nickel or copper.
Molycorp is now dead and buried.  Only bits of the carcass remains to
allow men to fight over who gets to eat it
