Question for the board? Why the jump in $$$?

Question for the board? Why the jump in $$$?I am new to this stock and am trying to determine why the stock has gone up so much this past week and the volumes so high? Is it speculation? I've seen this type of movement before and then huge pull back? On the other hand I bought III (Imperial Metals) and it just kept going up, and up - I hope for all of us that this moves like III. I would appreciate the boards thoughts.
