RE:Significance of Mining Journal Ratings

RE:Significance of Mining Journal RatingsThanks for the info Quakes, another great post.
quakes99 wrote: For those that don't understand why the Mining Journal top rating for Fission is such a big deal, leading to a news release on the heels of the publication of their latest edition, you need to understand that Mining Journal is not a newspaper written by non-engineers and non-professionals.  The name "Journal" is often used to refer to a publication that is geared towards presenting the latest scientific and engineering research to a body of professionals (who pay high subscription fees to access that latest research).   Subscriptions to Journals are the bread and butter of every professional in their field of practise... be it science, medicine, engineering... and in this case Mining.

Here you have professionals in the mining industry who are applying industry-standard criteria on which to rate undeveloped mine projects, assigning a score based on those widely accepted criteria, which rely on independently-written NI 43-101 Technical Reports.   This is not some obscure tabloid with no links to the mining industry... this is the National Geographic Magazine of Mining... made up of the brightest and best mining specialists in the world.

It's like the New England Journal of Medicine announcing that they have ranked Company X at the top of the list of drug developers most likely to find a drug to cure cancer.

In terms of ranking support from a professional publication covering Mining... it just doesn't get any better than this in the global Mining Industry.

Mining Journal is objective and unbiased ... its all about minerals, mining and the economics of mineral deposits as seen by the global community of professional Mine Engineers and Geologists.  And it ranks Fission as #1 undeveloped Uranium deposit in the world.

Cheers!
