RE:Belgium confirms nuclear phase out by 2025 - TD Research

RE:Belgium confirms nuclear phase out by 2025 - TD ResearchNatural gas and renewables are winning against uranium at least with Belgium losing 7 reactors. I am a bit surprised, you would think a balance between the two would make more sense. What other countries are doing the same?

Belgium's new energy pact has confirmed the country's commitment to phase out nuclear power by 2025. The plan calls for investments in natural gas and renewables to replace lost nuclear capacity. Belgium currently has seven reactors, which produce ~50% of the country's electricity supply, with annual uranium requirements of more than 2mmlb U3O8.
