FEC's Brief but Substantial Dividend History

FEC's Brief but Substantial Dividend History
Below are the dividends that FEC started paying 5 years ago, but only for a period of 15 months. But they paid out $1.85 per share over that 15 months. If you look at the corresponding chart below, for simplicity, let say average share price was $10 during that 15 months, so they were paying a well into double digits annualized dividend until oil prices dropped and hundreds of millions of Capex were funneled into Guyana.

Doesn't an appraisal plan have to be submitted to the Government, for the Guyana C block by June something? I don't see de Alba and Gramercy wanting to get into a long term JV in Guyana and would think they would want a way to cash out of Frontera Guyana and their CGX shares by that June deadline.

Just a thought since they had a brief history not that long ago of paying substantial dividends, that if a deal or deals cannot be made for selling their Midstream and Upstream business, any cash from selling Frontera Guyana could go towards paying off debt making the two remaining parts a real cash cow, with the ability of paying their majority venture capitalist shareholders (and us) substantial cash dividends within months which should also substantially raise share price.

I doubt either company breaks radio silence again until the year end financials have to come out next month, unless it is absolutely necessary news.
