Management is absolutely key and #1 priority in the mining business.
IMO the impact of a chairman like Neumeyer and experienced managers from First Majestic can hardly be overrated.
One of the big problems when it comes to investing in explorers is the judgement and valuation of their deposits. But with such a classy chairman and his handpicked experienced management I should be safe to assume, what they accept to buy, has been thoroughly checked.
Take the Springpole project from GCU. A nice project but with uncertainties. Now if one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the mining business and his managers buy such an asset, I think it's logical that the market will re-evaluate the project - because if the deposit is good enough for these guys...
