Orla Mining Ltd. jumped with the premarket announcement of Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. acquiring 500,000 common shares at a price of $4.20 each for an aggregate purchase price of $2.1-million.
The deal represents 0.16 per cent of outstanding shares in the Vancouver-based company, brining Fairfax’s total holdings to 12.8 per cent.
