How soon can the dividend be announced?

We are on the very precipice of paying, I assume the 20th would be the latest date for the announcement but when is the earliest? Quadravest would be wise to declare the payment as soon as possible in order to restore faith in the fund after many months of non-payment  provided of course fund reaches and maintains payment statues.

They announced the divvy for DFN on the morning of December 15th. Not sure why they announced so early unless it was to draw more interest. Ironically they amended the valuation for the end of day on the 15th and the valuation was below $15, so it didn't actually qualify for the divy. They might do the same for FFN if it is just over the $15 cutoff at the end of day on the 14th.

Hopefully so. Either way only about 2 weeks to go, starting to get excited

Theoretically, Quadravest can use any day to declare the next dividend. Practically, if the NAV is over the payment threshold as of Friday, January 12, I would expect a dividend declaration on the following Monday morning.
