Always want to compare ourselves

Always want to compare ourselvesIn the investing world we always want to compare ourselves to companies that are competitors of similiar size, products etc. We look at the share price as the barometer of that comparision which is probably the easiest to do but in the end the worst. we cant affect other people's investing habits and what they will pay for another company.
Example.
48North. Loosing money and their lat financials were not very good.
March 12-  they do a raise of 5M dollars at a share price of .21 cents.
Today - They announce that three of their Sr. Leaders (including the CFO) will be leaving the company and they will be shutting down their outdoor grow facility in Brant County. Laying off all of their workers. The stock is still trading at the .21 cent mark.
In comparison to Fire. They have a very strong leadership team. They have very good product line, they are expaning their product lines to include edibles. They have a very healthy war chest of cash. Last financials were very good and the year looks fairly decent. They are hiring mor staff at the Kincardine facility along with B.C site. The stock is getting bounced around at .27 cents range.
You can sit their and shake your head but it is what the investing world wants it to be at until they are ready to let it go or cant hold it back anymore.
It will boom....just dont know when. Next week? Next month? who knows.

Cheers and hold tight.
