Feb 23 SEDAR filing

Hi all,

I just noticed there was a filing on feb 23rd on SEDAR referencing a prospectus for $150mm in gross proceeds. 

Not too familiar with this type of submission, but I assume they may be looking to raise more money. 

Can anyone elaborate?

They've raised the whole $75M from the last prospectus. So they just filed another one to allow for more fund raising if needed. This is more like routine filing.

This allows them to do so but I can tell you no one would recommend this. The primary goal for management now is to turn the $70M cash on hand into $700M shareholder value. I have a feeling that Beena is keeping a tight lip on edibles and beverages. Again, for those who don't know, Beena was CEO of Hain Celestial american food company and Colin Moore was CEO of Starbucks coffee. This $200M

What I really want to see is some insider buying on the open market. Even small amounts. It would be a really good move. Since insiders can sell for many reasons...but there's only one reason they buy.

Now that they have a completed facility, are gaining market share in the premium space and, will be profitable I strongly suspect the next item on the agenda is investors. If you look at their balance sheet, the gain in market share, product etc, if a reputable investor came on board at the fraction of the other investors in the industry it would be a win win situation. Agreed Aur, there has to be something with Hain on etibles and beverages for sure, the fit is just to tight to miss out on...both will see huge upside in their operations on several levels and Beena could not be a bigger asset for both....always thought a FIRE Herb, Coffee and Burger Emporium should be in neighbourhood. We may even get our continent and country back and avoid the abyss...just

Personally I feel with the 10 mg cap on edibles and drinks that it really isn't a good time to get into that space yet. I personally feel at this point until they increase the amount we should stay out of that space. I would love to eat edibles but at 10mg I'm going to get real fat eating chocolates trying to get a buzz. I really hope she doesn't go that direction right now.

I don't blame you but you are probably very different from the average consumer. A lot of my friends actually just want a gummy or seomthing when they are on break. It's about synergy and having something for everyone in your selection. Edibles and drinks is what's missing in our product lineup.

Totally agree with Aurum. Ive long given up smoking anything and won't be going back. Edibles and drinks are totally the future IMHO. Fowler never liked that idea but it's imperative to the new consumer! And I'd throw  in topicals! On a personal note I've spent close to 1k already this year on these types of products!

Agreed Aur, it is the filling of the paperwork with the Final Decision Doc filed today...they have things tighened up with Truverra playing a major role in the off shore assets, with Truverra UK Limited and Truverra (Europe) B.V. (Netherlands). Have to wonder if the news yesterday with regard to Love Hemp and World High Life PLC is not speaking to some action there in the near future

I've been here longer then you vulc. And I own 10's of 1000's of $$$$ worth of fire share. And although I don't feel the need to post on here everyday or week doesn't mean I don't think of what is best for the company. In my opinion like I said before I personally don't think it's a good decision regardless of whatever lp is thinking of getting into edibles at this

chill bud i was talking to house about the sedar filings. nothing to do with you.. but i have been here as long or prob longer than you i didnt post at all for a long time.. but had to start to counter the shorts crappp they posted.. and not that it matters but im sure i have more shares..
