RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Newsweek: Election Polls. Senate @ House Will Go Blue!Yes and grandkids md, the fisheries have not been managed properly or things would be different. Oil is to Canada what fishing is to the east coast but on a much larger scale but it's renewable life cycle is well beyond out time horizons....oil's biggest strength is it will provide the funding for the country to build the infrastructure necessary for the future if managed properly.
I spent many years in the Alta/ Sask construction industry and many were eastcoasters of which funded many homes built and where many families raised out your way...from as far back as 50yrs ago.
I do not want government handouts for anything and I want my grandkids to have the abiility to be able to have the same country. If they want something get out there and work for it and if you want more than get out there and work more...a government in a free society is by the people for the people and that is not happening and hasn't been for a while but it can not contiue. We hire, through election, administration management personal, not rulers or dictators and it is tme we demand that function from those that we have elected...if we don't soon all we will have is dictators and rulers until our grandkids are oppressed enough to fight for what we gave away.
Besides the fish I catch, my sardines come from the east and the salmon et al from Alaska, my tea comes from off shore but the rest is from the country first and continent second...and all my herb/ oil from the finest menu in the country, the FIREmenu. This is a 'we' thing md and this is the best country on the planet, it is ours and not for sale or takeover by anyone either internal or external. JMHO...Opt

Give me a break.... studies have continually proven it is real....the issue is oil and other big business own the pockets of politicians.... u TIL their pockets will be filled with other new industry money our 'dependency' on oil revenues will continue. There are many industries we can pivot to that will be both economically viable and environmentally less impactful. You may not have children opt but I do and the course this world is heading too makes for a very dim future for them. The east coast got over the collapse of the fishing industries so will Alberta survive the slow but inevitable collapse of the oil and gas industry. Really....unproven opt...smh
