I've been keeping in contact with Chinese connects through social media, and in spite the government’s attempt at a media blackout surrounding the trade wars against trump, it's resonated quite loudly with the hire heads in the business world. Xi Jingping addressed the nation the other day saying that China has been through hard time in the past and will go through hard times again. However from what I've researched, the level of power businesses have gained in the last 10 years might be enough to sway the government.
