No one can explain the oil selloff, demand is not the issue: Eric Nuttall

Eric Nuttall, partner and senior portfolio manager at Ninepoint Partners, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss why the price of crude is below US$80/bbl. Additionally, he looks at consolidation in Canada's energy sector with Crescent Point buying Hammerhead.

Price action is healthy.   It's the paper market attempting to predict severity of this recession.   Moving targets cause commodity price volatility.   Both directions.

Once there is belief that recession will end without RE meltdown, oil price will strengthen from $70's.
