Looking to Buy Small Position...

Just wondering if there is downside risk at this level considering they are making an acquisition of the Permian Basin Royalty asset now, or will it just add to the bottom line?

Any risk involved with this acquisition?

I haven't bought into a resource play for quite a while, so am rusty, but I like the consistent passive income Freehold is giving out along with the positive reports to date.

Thanks for any input.

I've been meaning to add to my holdings here, I just haven't had the free capital to do so. Ive been expecting anouther divided hike for a year, as they are at the bottom of thier target return guidance as per the payout ratio, but instead ...more

You did good.  I never got into this oil/gas royalty sector before, so this is the first for me. Been in resource plays long time ago, but not like this.  I'm older now and looking more for safer, passive income type investments. Everything has its risks, but that's why getting in at reasonable prices is opportunistic.  I think that once rates begin to ease, that these ...more
