The company plans to build a hydrometallurgical plant in southern Canada to process NICO metal concentrates. Fortune also owns the satellite Sue-Dianne Copper-Silver-Gold Deposit located 25 km north of the NICO Project, which is a potential future source of incremental mill feed to extend the life.

RE:RE:RE:Corman Park, Langham RezoningSorry, obviously the $35 concentrate is no longer 'ore', anyway, it seems FT plans to produce something that will qualify as cobalt ore, so definitely lower end of the spectrum.
Far from impossible to transport economically, but definitely costly to move 8-9T of ore a go by truck. It shouldn't be hard to build a refinery in a more remote area in the worst case, and it would be good to have a refinery of adequate size.
