While it is important not to 'go crazy' it is equally important to ensure that we are all doing our best to practice good hand hygiene and social distancing. They are effective measures in helping to ease the onslaught of infection rates.
Also, let me be clear when I say to all readers that this is not the flu characterized by aches, pains, and fever. it can and will ravage a vulnerable or compromised person and usually results in death by an aggressive pneumonia.
Your healthcare systems are working hard to ensure that the spread of Covid-19 is reduced but please do not think for a minute that this crisis will be over in 2 or 3 weeks. By all accounts we are looking at a virus that may peak in a month. I say may. So unless we get a mojor stimulus package for the mining sector we may be in for a very long wait.
