Totally agree with you Red on the need for fresh blood and a much need injection of energy for the FT team.

Dave R.  had his day in government about 3 terms ago.  The reason he cannot get re-elected is because his constituents don't believe what comes out of his mouth.  He has a poor track record and does not command respect beyond a small circle of other former MLA's.

The challenge w/ the current group of NWT elected officials is that their priorities are largely with social justice and equality issues.  I think it is safe to say that functioning business and business growth is just not on the radar.  Unfortunately, as the saying goes 'if it ain't mined, its grown'.  And nowhere is that more relevant than the NWT.

I am not holding my breath for any action out of FT any time soon.   As reflected in the SP - just not a lot of interest out there right now.

who knows maybe this fall we will see a more significant development.
