RE:RE:RE:What we already know (and hope) Many have no concept of the mineral resource that lay in the Tlicho region and all regions of the NWT, proven many times over with winter roads out the yingyang. The geological survey of Canada has a good idea. The Tlicho hiway will lead to much exploration and much more than is already ongoing.....it's not about 500 or 40,000 people it's about Canada access to the untapped mining future that lays in the NWT, it's about the thlicho government and the NWT government ability to contribute more to Canada and it will open doors.
besides mineral there is lots of hydro opportunity that can eventually service these developments not unlike northern Quebec.....they don't call these roads to riches for nothing, it's one of the last frontiers in the world ....can't happen fast enough for me but think 50 or more years into the future where will the big discoveries come from? The NWT and NU ...baby steps
FT will be the start of the area, Tlicho will partner in all of them in one way or the other and will be self sufficient and contribute more to Canada all in due course. Just think big picture ...you will find your rationale for roads...this is just the start.
