RE:Bobcat
from my experience of living up in the Arctic, it should not be an issue, and is actually a benefit compared to ICE versions. You simply keep the equipment plugged in and it charges and runs needed heaters, unlike a ICE where you have to plug in as well and account for extra idling time. I spoke with someone who had a Tesla up in Inuvik for a season and absolutely loved it, and explained the cold did no worse with the range, then the extra idling on a normal vehicle. Plus with programmable start/preheating times, there was no running out and prepping before driving. (Again, as along as it was plugged in, which you do with all vehicles anyways). Another huge benefits is the fueling itself. Not having to worry about keeping fuel levels high to prevent freezing, or only worry about fueling a main generator as opposed to multiple pieces of equipment (if you are in a remote site and have a generator) is a huge benefit.
