Race to resources? Canada’s new CM strategy and implications

Race to resources? Canada’s new CM strategy and implicationsRecent discussion from the MacDonald-Laurier Institute - echos Robins recent smoke and mirrors comments - good on him for getting some cross country visibility on the general lack of progress in the industry and Nico’s advanced state. Our frustration with project advancement must pale in comparison to his. His comments, "Regulatory environments are “cumbersome and expensive,” Goad added, and the N.W.T., whose economy relies on mining, is a high-cost jurisdiction with limited infrastructure", although not new to us are telling, in that essentially all NDA entities must have indicated up until now in one form or another that FT money and or significant government assistance would have to make up a big slice of the funding pie, otherwise it's no game for them. But who knows, with gold price predictions being what they are, it's anyone's guess how this story will unfold.
