Recent discussion from the MacDonald-Laurier Institute - echos Robins recent smoke and mirrors comments - good on him for getting some cross country visibility on the general lack of progress in the industry and Nico’s advanced state. Our frustration with project advancement must pale in comparison to his. His comments, "Regulatory environments are “cumbersome and expensive,” Goad added, and the N.W.T., whose economy relies on mining, is a high-cost jurisdiction with limited infrastructure", although not new to us are telling, in that essentially all NDA entities must have indicated up until now in one form or another that FT money and or significant government assistance would have to make up a big slice of the funding pie, otherwise it's no game for them. But who knows, with gold price predictions being what they are, it's anyone's guess how this story will unfold.

The infrastructure issues of the north are not new and other than the road we waited for and now in place ....what more can we ask that is near term?  IMO, For us it's seed money in whatever forms it can come. Potential investors need to see real gov support  to the CM BM mining industry and that is a near term possibility that we have to chase down with everything we have ...more
