Fortune Minerals Ltd is a Canadian mining and mine development company focused on developing the NICO Cobalt-Gold-Bismuth Copper Project in the Northwest Territories. The company plans to build a hydrometallurgical plant in southern Canada to process NICO metal concentrates. RE:A fight over the future of electric vehicles is unfolding

RE:A fight over the future of electric vehicles is unfoldingThere must be global miners and EV / battery manufacturers that are awaiting finalization and absolute certainty of IRA rules and clarification of foreign entities of concern before they invest in North American deposits such as NICO - my speculation of course. If for example, the US does not allow Indonesian cobalt or any Chinese refined cobalt to be eligible for tax credits, then the NICO deposit becomes that much more appealing, conversely, if otherwise to whatever degree, then NICO will still be appealing, but likely not have as many suitors.
