What does "NICO" stand for?
I'm a long time lurker and long on FT so I just want to say hello to everyone including all the regulars that keep up the conversation here. Without this there's no telling what's going on with this bunch. I don't know jack about mining other than what I've learned from "Gold Rush" but I bought into FT a good while ago, mostly because of the assets.
Anyway, I'll probably ask a few questions here, so here's my first.. and it might seem like a really dumb one!
What does "NICO" stand for? I've always thought that this came from NIckel CObalt. Am I right or wrong about that? They never mention any nickel but does this deposit contain some? It seems to be the hot metal in the news lately.

I think its a type of deposit not specific to our particular resource i have heard of a Great Bear Lake NICO - I will pass the buck.....Over to Jim, Geo or Marshal - one of them will know

when the previous claims, BICO (Bismuth Cobalt) lapsed, a brilliant and distinguished prospector retake them as the NICO claims. You are correct, after Nickel Cobalt. The Great Bear silver deposits had a nickel cobalt association, so it was reasonable to assume that these obvious copper plus cobalt stained rocks might have nickel in with them somewhere. Alas, wrong type and age of deposit.
