Canada has 318 billion trees/9000 per person
China 139 Billion/102 trees per person
Brazil 301 billion/1500 per person
USA 228 billion/716 per person
The world should send Canada a cheque for all the CO2 our trees remove from the global atmosphere.

As a geologically-minded person, I am always surprised that anyone thinks trees can do much for CO2. Yes, they may be a great CO2 sink for what, 100, 500, or maybe 1,000 years, and then they fall, rot, and the cycle begins again. So if that is your time frame of concern, then have at er.
