More selling on FTN commons today

Seems FTN is playing second fiddle to the likes of FFN, DGS, DFN and others.... who have slightly higher yields, but WAYYYY less safety.
ANON has been the main seller, and a big portion of that is shortsellers.

Hi Mouserman, I just registred with Stockhouse, even if I follow FTN and DFN since a long time and you by the way, to comment on your last post. First of all, I appreciate your daily update on the NAV of FTN (I no longer have any DFN), it's really usefull. And for your last comment, I agree 100% with the first part of it, but I dont think that Anonymous is shortselling right now. I use ...more

Just because ANON sells that much, does not mean when the they are buying back they use ANON again. Really is nothing to hide when you are buying/covering your short. So because the short positions are given only 2 times a month, one cannot say who is covering, as they likely use the bank or other large brokerage to cover. My sources say it is normaly institutional that shortsells in a big way ...more
