Idiots and Then There are Idiots...Totally OT!!

Idiots and Then There are Idiots...Totally OT!!Wife and I were finsihing dinner this evening. At the end of the news my wife switched to a US based TV program.  They were talking about all the smoke coming from that terrible country called Canada.

They interviewed this guy who was talking about all the smoke in NYC.  He said he would like to do a shout out for the firefighters who helped save him from the effects of the smoke.   HUH????  I dunno.  He was a "guy in the street interview" - not in intensive care at some hospital....no N95 mask to help filter the small smoke particles from getting into his lungs.

Soooo..what exactly did NYC Fire do to stop the smoke?

Really gotta wonder some days.  Perhaps I am just too old...dunno

If anybody here thinks I am  missing something please let me know...
