Sombrero listing October. Maybe.

Now looking at October for Sombrero listing. Hopefully.

The issue seems to be getting that community agreement. Ivan and team clearly experiencing some difficulties right now, though hopefully nothing insurmountable. I know he's been playing a smart long game by donating food and medicine ($1m worth I think) to the local communities, which should help.

The established mines at nearby Las Bambas have experienced a lot of problems (of their making...?) so that will definitely be a factor....

Ivan tweeted this morning:

Unfortunately not in our direct control however we are pushing hard for October … “ it would be unfair to risk breaking more promises of when with external aspects, however it’s going to be very … very exciting when it happen$”

You are right. It correspond to what IB has said yesterday on Twitter: Unfortunately not in our direct control however we are pushing hard for October … “ it would be unfair to risk breaking more promises of when with external aspects, however it’s going to be very … very exciting when it happen$”. nothing to add. Finger crossed!

To quote Michael Henrichsen , “ Sombrero is the best pre-drilling project many of us have seen in our careers.”
