With Newmont taking out Newcrest, NEM will be so flush with cash that they may continue with a buying spree. Being involved with FURY already with its JV, and, it being only a drop in the bucket for NEM, especially after the merger, expanding their presence in the Eleanore area should make a lot of sense. Mergers and aquisitions are coming on strong. It's like the way the big banks are gobbling up the little banks. Plus, I don't think it is any secret that FURY management would like to see themselves bought out. Not quite sure how much if at all that could affect the Tier One / Sombrero operations. By the way, there is a new interview on the website in regards to progress in Peru. Good timing with metal prices moving in the right direction.
