RE: BORING DAY-SHOULD TRADE AT 1.5 CENTS

RE: BORING DAY-SHOULD TRADE AT 1.5 CENTS

For those dealers who may have opted out, Futura should determine the reason and take note. It requires time to see significant results. Was the Aeroplan program for car dealers well executed and the promotion effective?  And what may be difficult to understand is, it's not one dealer pitted against another, that's not the intended purpose. It's that the Aeroplan program itself will help dealers realize more revenues than would normally be the case. In addition, a better record of customer transactions would improve customer service.

I wonder if it would help to talk to the head offices in Canada, of the various car makers to see if they want a nationwide Aeroplan program for their dealers. There already are promotions in place at all car dealers which could be creatively supplemented by Aeroplan. But that may need approval from head office. Something like this: Participating Ford Canada dealerships across Canada are offering Aeroplan Miles for new car purchases in the month of March in addition with a factory rebate....."    Also sign-ups would be quicker.
