Maybe one of the reasons for the for the current pace of sign-ups, is be that quite a few dealerships already have a loyal customer base which keeps them busy. Another reason, good effective promotions are already in place.

 

Here an example. For thre 3rd year in a row the same GM dealership has sold more new and used Optimum cars than any other dealership in Canada. And this is in a small market area.  "We have a incredible network of customers who have been so loyal to us for so many years that's it's phenomenal", says the president.

 

So what's the secret? A healthy economy helps, but "we totally try to respect everybody's time and we try to make it fun to be doing business with us, whether it's buying a car or servicing a car. We really try to be respectful of people." 135 people are employed at this dealership. As long as we've got the right staff and treat people fairly, I don't think there's a needs to be a change." (Bruce Axelson, president).

 

The question now. Can Futura and Aeroplan make the customer service experience even better for this dealership.
