RE: no trace of that insider selling yet I don't think any insider sold. Sometimes it's the mutual funds which buy/sell which cause the marker trading report to be issued. For example, 3 funds sold stock last year. Some people, at first glance may feel it's insider selling, when that not's the case. No insider sold anything in 2012 based on that report I posted last week.
Mutual funds buy/sell for various reasons. Portfolio rebalancing is one reason, based on their own rules for a mutual fund. I've seen this with junior mining companies. It's not necessarily a negative reflection on the company, other than maybe the stock price had dipped too far down. Maybe the drop below 1 cent was the bottom limit for some mutual fund.
