RE: FUTURA is too quiet............

Yes. I'm tried of waiting.  I can come up with all sorts of possible scenarios, including R.I.P.

There's a disconnect with what management says and what the situation really is. But it seems this was the way for 5 years, that's one reason the mess exists. It's easy to say now in hindsight they did not guage the loyalty business well enough to make a profit from it. They tried their best, but spun the tires deeper into the mud.

I don't think the company will be sold, maybe the tax losses only to pay off some creditors. They have to reduce debt anyway. the courts won't have it any other way. The judge granted Futura an extension of the stay period to Jan 18th. I believe only because there was some serious intent to restructure the company and make it profitable. Also that management has already convinced some creditors to do a debt for shares deal.

If this is the case and also get a good price for the tax losses,  they could pay off almost all remaining creditors.  A clean balance sheet may attract equity financing.  A million dollars less interest charges would be a boost to the income statement. But must also  trim admin expenses, to those only absolutely necessary for a reseller.

A lot of generous assumptions have to be made. And the benefit of the doubt must be given to a restructured Futura idea. If by some miracle the company survives, is management certain that money can be made in the loyalty buisiness as a reseller. Being a reseller may be a boring oh hum story for the stock price. If there's a chance to get into something with more potential, maybe go for that.

It's no fun guessing what's to happen soon, especially when a company is on the ropes.
