RE: ALL THIS GOOD NEWS AND

If 5000 miles are given away (value $250), it would take the sale of 400 cars for Futura to earn $100,000. Or 4000 cars for a $ 1 million. That`s a lot of cars and each year. Lets assume 133 dealers Each dealer would have to sell 3 cars. I don`t know the expectations Futura had for car sales. Is 5000 miles too low ($250 value) for a $35,000 car.

I noticed in some ads that the price of a vehicle is reduced $4500, yet miles offered (5000), accounted for only a $250 cost to the dealer. Could not the dealer have offered a more substantial 15,000 miles. Maybe in the final analysis it would not have made much difference. I don`t know if it`s a tax deduction for the dealer giving out miles, could be some savings there. But I`m not an expert on this.
