Aeroplan can stand on its own, but then it become just another time limited promotional event and doesn't provide synergy to the dealer's own specials which run throughout the year.
Factory rebates for example. Add Aeroplan into the mix to complement this event. It's not just a ho hum rebate but Aeroplan rewards also, if the car buyer wants it.
