David Beutel with his over 15 million shares plus all the close associates. Knowing of the large overhanging debt and that Futura must pay the piper eventually, why not sell the stock while could still get out.

 

Being Chairman of the Board, his job was to supervise the operations of the company and behalf of shareholders. But having loaned the company, directly and indirectly, it probably was tough to remain independent. He resigned from the position this year.

 

But here's a case of a lender and also taking part in negotiations with other lenders (Can see his signature on a lot of the court filings) representing shareholder interests and working to increase shareholder value. Tough to balance the two. Yet he continues to have substantial stock holdings. He has been through the business world.

 

In this post and the last, the shares mentioned represent at least 25% of the company. I don't want to imply that the stock is worth more than 1/2 cent, because the worth depends on how much someone is willing to pay for the company,
