RE: RE: Update today Yes. If they sell the business and assets it will not cover the unsecured creditors. This means shareholders get nothing. Secured creditors are owed $6.56 million which can be paid. Unsecured are owed $2.27 million, of which only a portion can be paid.
Total owed for both, $8.8 million. From the NR, Futura's value (business + assets) is close, but still falls short.
To have any chance of achieving shareholder value, they have to continue the business. The NR appears to point to this direction. Pure reseller business now. Effective marketing practices and strategic partnerships will be required.
Will shares be rolled back. Probably yes. Reduce the debt by selling the tax losses. Trim admin costs. Get financed. Improve revenues to synchronize with the profitability talk of management, which seems to go on forever. Maybe they ar e onto something if they have kept up this long with their talk. A longshot, but better than giving up.
